Around the studio

My little space welcomed an essential piece of a potters studio this month! With the arrival of my very own kiln. I have nicknamed him Burt as my sister already has a bertha. With it's arrival I have been able to start going through all these second hand glazes I bought in the summer. On Monday I lifted the lid holding my breathe to these pieces. I was really pleased with the results, and thanked Burt and the kiln gods for looking over them! I'm sure I won't always be this lucky!
